Bees will buzz, kids will blow dandelion fuzz…

Yep. For all of the parents out there, that IS a song about summer from Disney’s Frozen! We are so in love with summer here at ConEd but we are also looking ahead to so many exciting things that we have coming up in the fall. But for now let’s focus on the sun, sand, patios, and continuous learning with all of the cool courses still to come for the rest of this real Canadian summer!

What’s going on for the rest of the summer? Well we are continuing with our clinic coaching, one on one training, and OCSE prep courses. We just wrapped up a double header this weekend with Pelvic Health for Manual Therapists in Toronto, and Advanced Treatment Perspectives- Cupping as a Soft Tissue Tool in Ottawa. We still have two courses set for the rest of August before we are off for a two-week vacation. There is still time to register for Advanced Joint Mobilizations in London and for the Assessments Courses in Toronto! After that We will be enjoying our own sun and sand until Labour day! But have no fear! We are starting right back up again once school starts back up! We have Reflexology back for you all beginning September 6. If this course has been on your mind, September is the perfect time to take the in-class portion before the RMT busy season gets into full swing!

Are you still waiting for me to talk about Cadavers? We have some super exciting stuff in the works. ConEd is working with the University of Guelph Human Anatomy Outreach Program to organize a Cadaver Lab experience for RMTs and other healthcare professionals led by the instructors of the College of Biological Science, Department of Human Health and Nutritional Sciences. The cadavers have been prepared by the 4th year students of the Human Anatomy Lab for this invaluable educational experience. This Lab will be coming your way in September and we will be sending out an email blast in the next two weeks with the info to get involved!

For new ConEd clients, and our loyal returning students, we thought you might be interested to know that Mark is also going to be a featured speaker at The One Concept Canadian Massage Conference in Burlington September 27-29. He will be teaching Marketing your Healthcare Business: Branding Your Practice Online. This is a great course for the super talented therapist that needs some ideas on how to reach their target audience and create an authentic and memorable online brand. If you’re planning to attend the conference be sure to come say hi to us! Until September, we hope you are all having a great summer!

Be bold in your pursuit of education...
