Anatomy Workshop - Human Anatomy Laboratory Update
I would like to thank you all for your continued patience during a very confusing time. We have been in close contact with the University of Guelph to keep up to date with what will be happening going forward with those of you who were enrolled in the Human Anatomy Cadaver Lab program.
The University will not be reopening their lab to outside visitors until 2021. When they reopen, they are only offering the program live to ConEd Institute and the Paramedic students. Going forward, all labs will be done in a virtual format until further notice. We are very appreciative to the University for accommodating us.
With that said, they do not want us to have to wait until 2021 to gain access to the lab. They have been teaching virtually through the pandemic with amazing success. They were able to get funding to create extremely high-quality images and videos and have the capability to do live demos using the cadavers with detail you cannot even achieve in person. They are so graciously offering ConEd participants the opportunity to have a virtual, cadaver-based human anatomy workshop offered by the Human Anatomy Program on October 29, 2020 from 10am-12pm. This virtual experience is a one-time complimentary offer that does not replace your in-person workshop. Every one of you that are enrolled will have a voucher to join ConEd Institute’s 2021 lab experience whether you join the virtual session or not.
We really encourage you all to take part in this once in a lifetime opportunity. You will still get your cadaver lab experience but this content is only being offered to us and it is incredibly detailed. Please note, the content of this online session is property of the Human Anatomy Program at the University of Guelph and is not to be saved/ recorded, copied or distributed for any reason.
Please confirm receipt of this email and let us know if you will be joining the session on October 29 as we will need to forward your emails to the program coordinator. If you choose not to join, you will still be on the list for an in-person lab workshop in 2021.
