Expecting Ease: Prenatal Remedial Exercise for Manual Therapists
$250 + HST
Description:
Pregnancy is a short period of time during which the body undergoes many rapid changes, and as a result of this instability, all underlying vulnerabilities come to the surface. This means that we, as manual therapists, have a small window of time to address these issues and effectively remediate them. Going into labour with a well-rested, fully functioning, pain-free body is ideal, and we can help facilitate this.
Through a combination of lecture and hands-on practice, attendees will learn a variety of pregnancy-appropriate exercises, as well as gain the critical thinking skills and knowledge needed to provide customized remedial exercises and guidance rather than memorize a static list of rules.
This course is appropriate for manual therapists and personal trainers who work with pregnant people.
