Description:
This Thai Table Massage course was designed by ITM Chiang Mai to be delivered by Certified Advanced Practitioners and Teachers (CAPT) from ITM. It is a combination of Northern & Southern style Thai Massage movements as it can be applied on a massage table without the practitioner moving on and off the table. This course is modified with the aim of teaching Massage Therapists and other professionals who have experience working with the body.
Upon completion the practitioner will be able to perform an effective full body Thai massage on Table for 1 – 2 hour treatment.

Course Objectives:
Perform a 1- 2 hour Thai Massage
Learn how to transition the client through various Thai postures seamlessly
Learn to effectively apply techniques with the hands, thumbs, knees and feet on table
Learn Thai massage and stretch techniques that target specific musculoskeletal conditions L
Learn proper biomechanics to save your body as a massage and manual therapist
Upon successful completion of the full 2 day training you will be eligible to participate in the practical evaluation on another day (after some practice) to obtain your certification from ITM Chiang Mai.

Instructor Bio
Orachon which means Angel in English. I was born and raised in Chiang Mai, Thailand. I am passionate about Thai Massage. I am honoured to teach this ancient healing art and share my positive energy and compassionate touch with you! Orachon Meechai is a Thai Massage Master Practitioner and trained with ITM Chiang Mai. She is a Registered Thai Therapist with the Thai Healing Alliance International. She is a Certified Advanced Practitioner and Teacher (CAPT) from ITM Thailand and is a member of the Union of Thai Traditional Medicine Society. She is the founder and President of the Canadian Association of Nuad Thai & Spa and was the teacher for 2 of the 3 Canadian National Thai Massage Champions in 2023. She was a Judge at the US and Japanese Thai National Championships in 2023 and lead the Canadian Delegation to the 2023 World Association of Nuad Thai Championship in Japan. She is the owner of Orachon Thai Spa & Wellness which will open in Toronto in June 2024.
